Quinta Repr Tequila pulled me in instantly because of the process, and if you know me at all, you know coffee is part of my daily ritual. Quintaliza is still a relatively new name on U.S. shelves, but they are already making noise by doing something genuinely different in the tequila space. This isn’t novelty for novelty’s sake. It’s a thoughtful finishing process that actually respects the spirit underneath. Quintaliza starts with tequila, naturally fermented for three days and double distilled. From there, the tequila spends about two months resting in ex-bourbon barrels. That alone would be a solid foundation for a reposado-style profile.
