Black Market Spirits 5 Year Black Market Rye Whiskey Review.            I received this spirit as a review sample from Black Market Spirits. It is important to clarify this did not impact the ratings of this review.      Black Market Spirits is based out of California where they are releasing some fun and unique spirits to the masses. In 2023 I had the pleasure of reviewing their core line up containing a Vodka, Rum, Gin, Fernet, and Rye. That release was a 2 year old and I really enjoyed it. Seeing a new release with more age really had my sites on. This is being sourced from the 10th oldest distillery in Kentucky, Green River. Green River Distillery Kentucky Straight Rye   Whiskey Review.     Since Green River has been releasing their own product, i've been a fan. Both their standard bourbon and wheated bourbon are great examples in their class. So hearing their rye was hitting the shelves you could color me interested. Sticking with a classic mash bill seemed like a great path for them. Now i've been fortunate to try Green River rye from a sourced side of things (see Black Market Rye Whiskey) and this really hit the spot for me.
