3 Sisters Rum Co. Peach Vanilla Infused Rum Review.

3 Sisters Rum Co. Peach Vanilla Infused Rum Review.

I received this spirit as a review sample from 3 Sisters Rum, linked here. It is important to clarify this did not impact the ratings of this review.

Three Sisters Rum, is an American craft distillery based in Pennsylvania. American rum often flies under the radar, and seeing a small distillery take on the challenge with such confidence is refreshing. Their process leans heavily into traditional Caribbean methods, utilizing a copper pot still to capture rich, flavorful profiles. The "mash bill" features organic sugar cane with a touch of molasses. On top of that their Rums are gluten-free, vegan, and even kosher. Personally, I love seeing transparency and their authenticity stands out.

When Summertime starts to come up, I tend to like sweeter offerings. When done right, flavored spirits can be not only a great thing to enjoy but also work great in a cocktail. The great thing 3 Sisters Rum is doing a bit different is the fact they are adding the natural flavor during distillation NOT afterwards. This allows the infusion of flavors to marry together VS just being an additive. Peach to me is a knockout when done right, and judging on paper how this process is done, I have high expectations.

Age Statement: Unaged.

ABV: 40%.

Mash bill: Organic sugar cane with a touch of molasses. Infused with natural Peach and vanilla flavor.

Area of Distillation: Schwenksville, Pennsylvania.

Appearance: Peach tea.

On the nose:
Immediately, the aroma brings a smile. There’s that signature pot still “funk” rum lovers know, a gentle, earthy sweetness from the sugarcane base. The peach presence is subtle and natural, more like catching a breeze past a fruit stand than being hit with a candy-like blast. Specifically, it leans toward fresh white peach, light and floral. As it opens up, a creamy vanilla note emerges, think vanilla buttercream frosting or the swirl on a peach cupcake. It’s nuanced, layered, and refreshingly absent of anything artificial.

Taste:
Sipped neat, the rum is dangerously smooth. A burst of ripe peach leads, followed closely by a silky vanilla cream note. Neither element overwhelms. The balance is striking—this isn’t a flavored rum trying to hide behind sugar; it celebrates its base. The sugarcane funk and earthiness are still present, supported by that pot still body. It coats the palate beautifully, creating a rich mouthfeel and slow finish. It’s a rum that respects its identity while playing with complementary flavors.

Finish:
Light, warm, and just sweet enough. The finish continues the theme—subtle, refined, and clean. The vanilla buttercream makes another appearance, followed by a soft peach echo that fades without overstaying its welcome. It avoids the syrupy finish of lesser flavored rums, instead offering a closing note that invites another sip.

On Ice:
Served over a large cube, the profile shifts slightly. The rum base becomes more prominent while the peach retreats just a touch. It’s still enjoyable—perfect for sipping outside on a hot summer day. The chill doesn’t mute the flavors entirely, but this pour likely shines brightest when used as a cocktail base or blended into something tiki-inspired. The structure holds, thanks again to that 40% ABV.

Final Thoughts:
Three Sisters has delivered a flavored rum that respects the craft. It’s a standout in the infused flavored rum space, not only for its use of real ingredients and thoughtful distillation, but also for letting the rum itself shine. This isn’t peach-and-vanilla on top of something forgettable; it’s a fully formed spirit with layered flavor and real backbone. For neat sipping, mixing, or blending into tropical creations, this bottle offers excellent value and surprising versatility.

Rating: B+ (Great).

Cost: $34.95 for 750ml.
